Fortifying Our Own Systems of Care
A 4-month online mentorship for People’s Medicine School participants (past and present).
The pandemic/late-stage capitalism has made it even more clear, what history has continually shown us, we must care for ourselves. The health care of BIPOC, trans, queer, disabled, and poor folks have never been a priority of the governmental systems, so we must make it our priority.
Thru this mentorship, we will further prepare ourselves to take on the critical task of taking care of our community. We must fortify our own systems of care, now.
“ I loved having the cases and then putting together a plan each month, and then I absolutely loved getting to hear one another’s perspectives on how they would approach the plan. Not only did I learn from these perspectives, but it made me feel like I was part of a community of healers that I could grow alongside with and support one another”

Enrich your practice with real case studies
At the beginning of each month January - April, participants will receive a case study to review and create recommendations for.
The case studies will cover common health concerns that you will often see in your communities.
On the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7pm EST we will come together via Zoom to discuss the case study and go over recommendations, dosages, contraindications, compliance, medicine making, and more.
This mentorship is only open to those who completed at least 75% of the People's Medicine School curriculum in the last 5 years.

“I learned new things about specific conditions, learned about how to talk to other practitioners about bodies, herbs, and other protocols, and especially learned through our differences and Amanda’s confidence in all of us, that everyone does have something valuable to offer but the beauty of herbalism lies in the unique connections that folks have that make them especially able to help certain people.”
